(Part-2)

          By using shortcuts keys we will reduce our work-time and make it easier to work in any application. We can do all the tasks with mouse also, but it reduces our productivity and also it takes more time to complete the work. So, here we will discuss about shortcut keys of MS Excel. If you are a beginner of MS Excel, these shortcut keys are definitely helpful for you. These MS Excel shortcut keys works with all the versions MS Excel 2003, MS Excel 2007, MS Excel 2010 and MS Excel 2013.

In this blog, we will see some basic MS Excel shortcut keys and their uses.

Ctrl+Tab
Move between two or more open excel files.
Ctrl+Shift+Tab
Actives the previous workbook.
Ctrl+Shift+A
Insert argument names into a formulas.
Ctrl+Shift+F
Opens the Dropdown menu for fonts.
Ctrl+Shift+O
Selects all of the cells that contains comments.
Ctrl+Shift+P
Opens the Dropdown menu for point size.
Shift+Insert
Paste the content that is stored on the clipboard.
Shift+PageUp
In a single column, it highlights all the cell above that which are selected.
Shift+Home
To highlight all text to the left of the cursor in the current line.
Shift+End
To highlight all text to the right of the cursor in the current line.
Shift+UpArrow
It extends the highlighted area to up one cell.
Shift+DownArrow
It extend the highlighted area to down one cell.
Shift+LeftArrow
It extends the highlighted area to left side by one character.
Shift+RightArrow
It extend the highlighted area to right side by one character.
Alt+Spacebar
It Opens the system menu.
Alt+BackSpace
To do undo.
Alt+Enter
While typing text in a cell, to move in the next line press Alt+Enter.

It creates the formula to calculate sum of all the above cells.

Allows formatting on a dialog box.
Ctrl+F3
To open excel name manager.

To close current window.

To Restore window size.

Move to next workbook.
